Roundhill Primary School

Welcome to Our Nursery

Welcome to Roundhill Nursery – A Nurturing Start for 2–4 Year Olds

At Roundhill we proudly welcome children who are aged 2 – 4+ years

The Nursery have 5 qualified Early Year practitioners, Michelle, Lisa, Heidi, Tasha and Kathryn. Michelle is the Nursery Lead and Lisa supports our SENDCo Vicky Heslop with identifying needs in the nursery. Our Early Years Lead is Katie Beere who supports the Early Years team to ensure children are supported through their early years until they reach school age.

We support children to develop through fully inclusive, playful activities in line with the statutory early years curriculum (EYFS), which are based on seven areas of learning - Personal, Social and Emotional Development; Communication and Language; Physical Development;  Literacy; Mathematics; Understanding the World; and Expressive Arts and Design.

We share stories, nursery rhymes, songs, physical activities, snack times and circle times during our sessions. We also spend a lot of time playing and learning outside in our wonderful grounds - the children participate in activities all around school so they feel a part of the Roundhill Family!

For all enquiries, please contact the school office at: office@roundhiil-pri.co.uk

Please note - if you currently attend our nursery and want/need to change a session, we usually require 2 weeks' notice. If you are requesting an additional nursery session, please contact the school office as an additional invoice may need to be generated.

Please take a look at our Nursery Prospectus, which can be found at the bottom of this page.
